Black Meteorite Skeleton Talisman

This is a hand carved talisman made of black meteorite glass (indochinite/tektite).

Tektites were ejected into the Earth's upper atmosphere by a meteorite impact and subsequently cooled to form the distinctive glass-like structure which can be carved.

Indochinites are distinctly dark black in contrast to the green of European moldavite tektites. It is estimated that these bodies of solidified magma are 700,000 years old

This talisman can be used to call spirits, ignite transformation, yoke the celestial to earth, summon ancestors, extend protection, and put things to rest.

Approx 3 tall x 1" wide, includes holes upon the back to string upon a necklace if desired.
